Czech President Vaclav Klaus is already a controversial figure taking strong positions against global warming and the EU – both of which he likens to communism – but now he really is famous – for stealing a pen in full public view at a treaty signing recently.
The pen stealing incident has probably been overplayed as he was entitled to take the pen anyway but it is his smile of satisfaction as he places the pen secretively in his other pocket that is so captivating….
